MIVA Direct was looking for a domain name to replace the existing Starware brand. In today’s market short, clever and unique names are critical for brand recognition. I am an Exclusive Lifetime Member of DNForum and found the domain ALOT.com was available in the Private Exclusive Sales section for a reasonable fee. I negotiated and brokered the deal between MIVA and the private seller and the rest is history. In hindsight, I should have purchased the domain myself.
