From the Reputation of Malicious Malware to Product Excellence
Jul 8th, 2008 | By Expert | Category: Product ExcellenceThe purpose of this site is to chronicle the migration and ultimately the saving of the MIVA toolbar business. Before I took over, the Starware toolbar brand was ubiquitous with the term malware (just do a Google search for Starware). In fact, many of the MIVA downloadable client products and websites prior to my arrival were used as examples of sites or products not visit or to download while on the internet. Through my leadership, the products and brands that have been developed and are currently in development all comply with industry best practices and are respected as providing full transparency and user disclosure. This is a story about saving the MIVA toolbar and content website business.
As a result of my leadership, the ALOT brand significantly outperforms the legacy Starware brand: RPMLU is 62% higher and retention is 14% improved. How I did it an maintained a clean rating will be detailed in future posts.
